Partners in the programme are independent consultants and firms — they are not WIARA employees, and we do not resell their services. To leave no ambiguity, here is how responsibility is divided.
WIARA is responsible for the platform: availability and security (ISO/IEC 27001), the regulatory templates and their updates when the law changes, the passport format to EN 18216–18223, the audit trail and version history, data export in open formats, and access to your data through the REST API and JSON-LD. Our production connection to the EU registry is in preparation; registration will use the customer's own qualified electronic seal. We approve and train every partner before granting access, and we can revoke the access of a partner who does not keep to the terms.
The partner is responsible for the service to their client: collecting and preparing the data, the quality and timing of the work, their own pricing and invoicing. The service contract is between the partner and the manufacturer; WIARA is not a party to it and does not guarantee the partner's work.
The manufacturer is responsible — under the CPR and the ESPR — for the accuracy of the declared data and the conformity of the product. That responsibility passes neither to the partner nor to us.
If you are a manufacturer and prefer to work with WIARA directly, without a partner, that is possible — the platform is self-service and the free consultation is open to everyone. WIARA is a software company founded in 2018.
