I am Stefan (Stef) Dyankov – founder of WIARA and lead of the Digital Product Passport (DPP) project.
My professional journey began in web development and software engineering, where I built systems and integrations for companies across various industries. Over time I specialised in project management related to cloud infrastructure, automation and digital products that combine complex technologies with real business needs.
My experience as an entrepreneur and investor has helped me view technology not just as code and architecture, but as a means of long-term value and competitive advantage. This is why I approach DPP not merely as a regulatory requirement, but as a strategic opportunity for companies to become more transparent, sustainable and future-ready.
As DPP project lead I combine three key things:
I believe that this combination makes me the right person to lead this project and help companies get the most out of it.
Outside of work, I am a person who loves to experiment – whether with new technologies, sports or personal projects. For me, innovation always starts with curiosity and the willingness to try different approaches until you find the best solution.
